Best Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Beverly Smith (District of Columbia) says:
Try adding 1 cup of vanilla greek yogurt for thickness instead of ice cream, vanilla almond milk instead of regular milk, and a few extra berries. Taste good and it's healthier.

Add honey instead of straight sugar, it is a complex carb and gives you more energy for the morning. Also, I added a scoop of vanilla whey protein and it tasted delicious.

Worst recipie ever to much banana sugar is in a smoothie? Use honey it's much better for you. Only 4 strawberries it needs much more like 10 strawberries.

 Elizabeth (Texas) says:
A smoothie is a healthy drink, so don't put the sugar in. Also, if you want it to be thicker, freeze the strawberries and the bananas. Ice cream doesn't belong in a smoothie. If you want a milkshake, then use ice cream.

Delicious smoothie, we used 2 bananas and 7 strawberries, and kept the rest the same. Only problem, it definitely does not serve 4. More like 2.

Good recipe. However, we made a few adjustments...we used 2 fresh, ripe bananas, 8 fresh strawberries, 2 tablespoons natural raw honey, slightly more ice and added ginger powder and ground cinnamon. My 11 year old twins loved it!!!

Just tried this recipe this morning and it was great. I froze the banana & strawberries like someone mentioned, little milk and one table spoon of ice cream because I didn't have any honey or sugar. Turned out delicious & thick... topped with whipped cream.

I use the Nutribullet. I added a handful of frozen strawberries and bananas, some milk and strawberry greek yogurt.. Thick and perfect!

I loved this recipe. Got up this morning with not a lot to eat in the house except strawberries and a couple of bananas. Found this recipe, made it and I was amazed by how tasty and thick it was. I used cashew milk instead of milk which is creamier and thicker, less fattening and more rich with calcium. It made it all the better.

I did 1 banana, 7 strawberries, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup strawberry Greek yogurt, a dash of vanilla extract and 1 tablespoon honey. It came out perfect.

I loved the recipe, but I added a bit more ice than what the recipe listed. It tasted amazing and it was a great way to start my morning!

This was great, though I took out the banana (allergy) and added more strawberries. I'm definitely bookmarking this!

I used maple syrup instead of sugar.
