It was the best smoothie ever! And I didn't even add sugar. I will recommend this to friends!

Great smoothies, I made for my kids, but sub non fat vanilla yogurt for milk didn't need to add any sugar.

 Kim (Oregon) says:
This is good, I never add cream to my smoothies I use my Nurtri bullet, and I use frozen strawberries, I buy bananas and cut in half and freeze as well I tried adding a wedge of pineapple and a little papaya to thicken and so there is no fat and those add enough sweetness no sugar or sugar substitutes. Even kids will drink it so good.

I tried this using 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk (vanilla flavor). With 1/2 cup it was too thick (could eat it with a spoon. 1 cup was just right. I used the almond milk in place of regular milk.

Just wanted to make another small comment. This smoothie is very delicious, but as one comment was made to add stevia instead of sugar and that was healthier. Actually, artificial sweeteners are not good for you. The body cannot does not know how to use it so it passes through as empty calories, causing your body to crave more food. In other words, artificial sweeteners increase hunger. Natural is always better. If you are a diabetic then either use less sugar or no sugar.

I am in mad love with this recipe! This was my first time trying this recipe and it turned out perfect. But I feel like it would taste better if it was thicker like most people above said. But other than that is was amazing!

 Bri (New York) says:
Delicious! To make it more thick and sweet, I added about a teaspoon of honey and an Activia banana Greek yogurt cup.

 Martie (Virginia) says:
This is moderately good but after reading ALL the reviews next time I will do a revised version: 1 cup frozen strawberries, 1 frozen banana, 1 (6 oz.) plain or banana-strawberry flavored yogurt, dash of vanilla extract, 1 Tbsp. ground flaxseed and if not sweet enough some honey. No ice. No ice cream. No milk (unless it comes out too thick)..
