1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar until fluffy. Gradually beat in 1 cup flour. Pat into bottom of an 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly.

In bowl, beat eggs slightly. Stir in remaining brown sugar, flour, baking powder and salt until well blended. Add nuts and chocolate chips. Pour over crust. Bake 35 minutes or until brown, set in center. Cool completely before cutting into squares. Makes 25 squares.
