This recipe was perfect! This was my very first time making kiss cookies, I made them for my boyfriend and he loved them.

Also to add a little something extra, I used Reeses Miniatures (not the tiny ones) for half the cookies and they were delicious.

Always use unsalted butter in baking (unless recipe specifically asks for salted butter).

Just made this, and replaced the peanut butter with Nutella (chocolate hazelnut spread) they were delicious! Made them for everyone at my barn :) & I put a smartie on top instead of a Hershey kiss... Didn't have enough! Thanks for the recipe :)

Made them last night!! I think that they weere perfect. Good to know that I can throw them back in the oven for a couple of minute with the kisses on them. I thought we did that when I was a kid!

I have made these several times before. I prefer them rolled in balls and kept small. They fit the kiss better than a flat cookie. Today, I'm having trouble getting the kiss to set firm. I may have to place them in the fridge for a bit, since I need to pack them up. Anyone else had this problem?

I have made these the past few years and instead of kisses I use the Reese's Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup. They are always a hit.

I've always baked these the same way my mother did. I shove the unwrapped kiss in the dough before putting the cookies in the oven. They come out great.

I tried it with peanut butter with the peanuts in it. came out great. I use unsalted butter and you can omit the salt anyway.

I have been making these for years. We love them! Only we add the Hershey kiss first before we bake. We make them into balls then press in the kiss. They don't melt. Just don't eat right away. Cool first as chocolate is extremely hot.
