CALIFORNIA PORK CHOPS 
6 pork chops
Mandarin oranges
5 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. chicken broth
1 c. orange juice
1/2 tsp. marjoram
2 sliced onions
2 tbsp. parsley

Brown chops in oil. Arrange in shallow pan. Sprinkle orange slices with 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and let stand. Blend cornstarch with chicken stock, orange juice, marjoram and rest of brown sugar. Pour over chops. Arrange onions on top. Sprinkle with parsley. Bake 1 hour, 350 degrees, covered. Add orange slices. Bake 15 minutes more, uncovered.
