PORK CHOPS AND YAMS 
4 pork chops
Salt and pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. marjoram
1 onion, sliced
1 green pepper, ringed
1 (16 oz.) can yams, drained
1 (19 oz.) tomatoes

Brown chops, season and top with onions, yams, green peppers and tomatoes. Cover and cook slowly 45 minutes.
