1/2 c. butter
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1 (20 oz.) can pie apples
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sour cream
2 egg yolks or 1 egg

Cut butter into cake mix until crumbly. Mix in coconut. Pat into ungreased 13x9x2-inch pan, building up edges. Bake 10 minutes.

Arrange apple slice on warm crust. Mix cinnamon and sugar; sprinkle on apples. Blend sour cream and egg; drizzle over apples. Bake 25 minutes or until edges are light brown. Serve warm.
