OYSTER SOUP 
1 qt. oysters
1 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. butter
1 qt. milk
Salt and pepper to taste

Rub flour and butter together and add milk which has been allowed to come to a boil. Heat the liquor from the oyster and add to this mixture. Then drop in the oysters and allow them to curl on the edges but not to boil. Season with salt and pepper and serve at once.
