HOT WATER PIE CRUST 
1/3 c. boiling water
2/3 c. Crisco shortening (equals 10 tbsp. minus 2 tsp.)
2 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. salt

Pour boiling water over shortening. Beat until creamy. Sift flour and salt together; add to shortening. With fork, mix to soft dough.

Divide into 2 equal balls. Chill dough before rolling on floured board. Makes enough for 2 single crusts or 1 double crust.
