CODFISH CAKES | |
1/2 lb. salted codfish 2 beaten eggs 3 tbsp. chopped onions or scallions 2 tbsp. green bell peppers Black pepper Flour, to form batter Oil to fry Soak codfish overnight to remove desired salt. Boil in fresh water until tender. Remove skin and bones. Flake codfish. Add beaten eggs, chopped onions and green pepper and black pepper. Add flour to form batter. Fry in hot fat. |
