ALMOND TORTE CAKE 
3 egg whites, beaten stiffly

Gradually add: 1/2 tsp. baking powder Pinch of salt

When thoroughly mixed, add: 1 c. finely crushed graham crackers

Mix real well with egg whites. Cook in pie pan which has been greased at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. When cold, top with whipped cream with 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring and sugar to taste.

This recipe can be varied by adding 1/2 cup chopped dates, nuts and cracker crumbs and a little vanilla. Sprinkle a few graham cracker crumbs on top of whip cream.
