CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 head of cabbage, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. milk
5 slices white bread, cubed
Salt & pepper to taste
8 slices bacon, fried until crisp & chopped
2 cans cream of chicken soup
8 oz. cheddar cheese, grated
1 stick butter, melted

Cook cabbage in salted water 8 minutes and drain. Saute onions and green peppers in bacon drippings. Mix cabbage, bacon, onions, green peppers, soup and milk, cheese and turn into casserole. Top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes or until bubbly.
