SAUSAGE BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
6 slices bread
1 lb. sausage
1 1/2 c. shredded longhorn cheese (6 oz.)
6 eggs, beaten
2 c. half and half
1 tsp. salt

Remove crusts from bread and sprinkle with butter, put in 13 x 9 inch dish; set aside. Cook sausage until brown and stir to crumble and drain well. Spoon over bread; sprinkle with cheese. Combine eggs with half and half and salt and mix well and spoon over cheese. Cover and chill overnight. Remove from refrigerator for 15 minutes before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until set.
