SAUSAGE PRONTA 
1 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
1 med. onion, cut in 1/4 inch wedges
1 lb. sm. zucchini, cut diagonally 1/2 inch slices
1 med. red pepper, cut in 1/2 inch thick slices
1/2 lb. mushrooms, quartered
2 lg. garlic cloves, crushed
1 lb. plum tomatoes, coarsely chopped
1 lb. pasta, cooked
1/2 c. red wine
2 tbsp. salad oil

Prick sausage with fork. Heat salad oil in large skillet over medium heat, until hot. Add sausage, cook 15 minutes, turning until brown on both sides. Remove to cutting board and cut into 1/2 inch thick slices. Return sausage to pan on medium heat, cook 2 more minutes. Remove sausage to bowl; keep warm.
