SOUR CREAM POTATOES 
2 lbs. frozen hash browns, thawed
8 oz. cheddar cheese, grated
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
1 lg. carton sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1 med. onion, diced
2 c. crushed sour cream & onion potato chips
1 stick butter

Mix all ingredients together except butter and chips. Place in well greased 3 quart casserole dish. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven. Top with chips and dot with butter. Return to oven and bake 15 minutes more.
