PORK CHOPS WITH ONIONS AND POTATOES | |
4 pork chops Salt and pepper to taste 1 tbsp. oil 2 med. onions 4 med. potatoes, peeled and cut lengthwise into thin slices 1/2 c. water 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar 1 tsp. paprika Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Set aside. In a large skillet, heat oil over moderately high heat. Brown chops. Reduce heat to low. Scatter onions and potatoes around pork chops. Add water and vinegar; stir. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover and simmer 45 minutes. |
