CHRISTMAS PEA CASSEROLE 
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
5 slices bacon, cut up
1 med. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. light cream
1 (2 oz.) can mushrooms

Cook peas according to package directions. Meanwhile, fry bacon at 325 degrees in electric skillet. Remove bacon from skillet and drain on paper towels. Saute onions in drippings until soft. Add flour and cook 1-2 minutes. Add drained mushrooms and cream. Cook to the consistency of a medium white sauce. Add sauce and bacon to hot peas. Makes 6 servings.
