COCOA APPLE CAKE 
3 eggs
1 c. butter
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
2 apples, cored and grated
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. all spice
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. vanilla

Beat eggs, sugar, butter and water until fluffy; add vanilla. Mix flour, cocoa, baking soda and spices; add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Fold in nuts, apples, chips. Spoon into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes. Test for doneness using a toothpick or knife.
