CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 med. cabbage head, shredded
1/2 c. green pepper, diced
1/2 pkg. stuffing mix, Herb seasoning Pepperidge Farms
1 c. cream mushroom soup
1 c. grated cheese. medium or sharp
1/2 stick butter
Optional: red pepper, garlic powder, onion powder (dash of each)

Cook cabbage and green pepper until tender. Drain. Melt butter and combine with stuffing mix. (And optional seasonings) Place half the stuffing mix in baking dish. Layer half the cabbage, half the soup and half the cheese. Top with cabbage, soup and cheese. Top that with remaining stuffing mix. Bake covered at 350 degrees until bubbly. Casserole dish is a real crowd pleaser. Serves 8 to 12.
