BEAN-BURGER STEW 
1 lb. ground beef
2 tsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. green pepper
1 (41.5 oz.) can pinto beans
4 c. canned tomatoes
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Brown ground beef in large skillet. Drain well. Push to one side of pan; add butter and saute onion and green pepper for a few minutes. Stir into meat. Put in large pot and add remaining ingredients. Heat to a simmer, cover and cook slowly for 1 hour or longer. Great with cornbread.
