GRAMMY'S BURGERS 
2 lb. extra lean ground beef
1 box seasoned croutons
1 env. onion soup mix
1/2 med. onion, chopped
2 sm. eggs, mixed with fork
1 tsp. each garlic powder, oregano, parsley, basil, salt and pepper (to taste)
3 tbsp. grated cheese
2 tbsp. sugar
2 pkg. chicken broth
1 can stewed tomatoes, chopped

Yield 12 small or 10 large burgers. Mix all ingredients (except tomatoes and croutons). Heat stewed tomatoes, then add croutons to soften and stir. Add stewed tomatoes and croutons to meat mixture; blend well.

Place mixture in freezer for 1/2 hour (this makes burgers easier to form). Marinate in barbeque sauce and grill. For fewer burgers reduce recipe by 1/2 the ingredients.
