GERMAN SKILLET DINNER 
1 chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
1 lb. ground beef
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. uncooked rice
1 (14 oz.) can sauerkraut
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce

Saute onion in butter in pan or electric skillet. Add ground beef and seasoning. Stir in rice and cover with sauerkraut and sauce. Steam for 25 minutes until tender.
