MEXICAN ITALIAN GERMAN CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
16 oz. cottage cheese, sm. curd
16 oz. sour cream
3 oz. cream cheese
10 oz. can tomatoes with green chilies
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 lump (1-2 tbsp.) butter
8 oz. pkg. German noodles (curly)
Dried chives
1/2 tbsp. chopped scallions

Brown meat and drain. Add tomatoes with chilies and tomato sauce to meat which is salted and peppered to taste. Add butter; simmer. While noodles are cooking, 3 to 5 minutes, mix white ingredients and chives. Butter a 2 to 4 quart casserole and layer as follows:

1. Noodles to cover bottom.

2. Sour cream, cottage cheese, onion and chives.

3. Rest of noodles.

4. Meat mixture.

Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, covered, 15 minutes uncovered.
