GERMAN PIGS IN THE BLANKET | |
1 c. rice, cooked and drained 1 lb. lean hamburger 1 c. onions, chopped 1 c. celery, chopped 1/2 c. sugar 1 head of cabbage Cook rice and drain; add the sugar then add hamburger and season hamburger with a little salt and pepper. Saute the onions and celery in butter or oil until tender; cool, then mix into the rice/hamburger mixture. Steam cabbage in water so leaves are soft. Fill mixture into leaves; roll, put in baking pan. Add 1 can of tomato soup and 1 can of water over rolled pigs; bake 2 hours. |
