SWEET AND SOUR DILL BEANS | |
2 (16 oz.) cut green beans, canned 2 tsp. dill weed 3 tbsp. sugar or 4 tbsp. honey 1/8 tsp. granulated garlic 1/4 tsp. granulated onion 1/8 tsp. ground ginger 2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch Drain bean liquid into a 2 quart saucepan. Pull off enough liquid to dissolve cornstarch. Add all other ingredients except the beans to the liquid. Heat to a high simmer and add cornstarch, stir until thickened. Reduce heat to simmer and add green beans. Bring to serving temperature and serve. Serves 8, 1/2 cup portions. |
