VEGETABLE AU GRATIN | |
1/4 c. butter 3/4 c. diced green pepper Dash garlic salt 1/4 c. flour 2/3 c. milk 3/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. each pepper & oregano 1/4 tsp. sugar 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese 2 c. drained tomatoes 1 pkg. frozen corn 1 (1 lb.) can onion Melt butter in pan. Add green peppers and dash garlic salt. Cook until tender. Add flour. Mix well. Add milk, salt, pepper, oregano and sugar. Heat stirring until thick. Add 1/2 cup cheese and the tomatoes. Place in casserole. Add the corn and onions. Sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes, uncovered. |
