CORNMEAL PIE 
1-2 lbs. ground beef (have butcher grind boneless chuck)
1/2 c. each chopped onion, celery & green pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. ketchup
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Brown meat and chopped vegetables in a little oil. Add other ingredients and simmer 20 minutes. Pour into baking dish and top with following recipe. Bake in 400 degree oven until topping is done and nicely browned.

MEXICAN CORNBREAD:

1 c. self-rising meal
1 onion, chopped
1/3 c. Wesson oil
1 sm. can whole kernel corn, drained
3/4 c. cheese, shredded
2 sm. hot peppers
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs
Dash salt

Mix all ingredients together. Pour on top of meat pie and bake in 400 degree oven.
