TASTY AND NUTRITIOUS BREAD 
1 1/4 c. all-purpose or unbleached flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. bananas (3), mashed
1/4 c. butter, softened
2 tbsp. orange juice
1/4 tsp. lemon juice (optional)
1 egg
1/4-1/2 c. raisins
1/2-3/4 c. wheat germ (optional)

Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup and level off. In large bowl, blend all ingredients. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Pour batter into prepared 5 x 9 or 4 x 8 inch greased and floured pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 60-70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Remove from pan to cool. If using self-rising flour, omit salt. Yield: 1 loaf.
