LEMON - GLAZED PERSIMMON BARS 
1 c. persimmon pulp
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. salad oil
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 c. nuts

Mix pulp and soda; set aside. Combine egg, sugar, oil and raisins; blend with pulp and soda. Combine dry ingredients, add to mixture. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 10 x 15 inch jelly - roll pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool for 5 minutes, glaze with well blended 1 cup confectioners sugar and 2 teaspoons lemon juice. Spread over persimmon bars.
