AMANDA'S CRUNCHY OVEN BURGERS
2 lb. ground beef (whichever type you prefer)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. Stove Top stuffing mix (I like the cornbread variety)
2 eggs
2 bowls (small serving bowls)

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Set out the two bowls. Crack the two eggs and put them in one bowl (stir them up, break the yolks). In the other bowl put your stuffing mix.

Shape a good sized patty from your hamburger, and roll it in the egg covering it graciously; and then repeat the same steps in the stuffing mix.

I tried this two different ways - using two different types of stuffing. I used the cornbread the first night, and it tasted perfect! However I didn't put it on anything when baking it, so the bottoms were a bit soggy.

I suggest (and anyone can mess around!) putting these on a baking sheet, but putting a rack on the sheet so that the grease/fat and such from the burgers drains off (they'll still be mighty juicy!) ~ The less oil they bathe in, the crunchier they are :)

Estimated cooking time depends on the size of your patties - I'd give it anywhere from 30 minutes to 45 minutes.
