BEEF AND CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 tbsp. salad oil
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
4 c. chopped cabbage
4 tbsp. minute rice
1 can tomato soup
1 can water
Salt and pepper

Brown hamburger and onion in oil. Add soup, water, salt, pepper, and rice. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes. In a 3 quart casserole, put layers of cabbage and layer of beef mixture. Put in a 325 degree oven until cabbage is tender.
