FRENCH FRIED ONION RINGS 
3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. cream
1 1/2 tbsp. salad oil
1 egg white, unbeaten
2 to 3 med. size peeled Bermuda onions

Sift flour into mixing bowl. Add milk, cream, oil, and egg white; beat until smooth. Slice onions into rings. Dip each ring into batter and into cracker crumbs. Drop a few at a time into fat, heated to 365 degrees. Fry about 3 minutes. Drain on absorbent paper and sprinkle with salt. Also good when cold.
