MAMAW'S TEA CAKES | |
1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour Sift flour, cream of tartar, salt and soda together. Cut in butter. Beat egg with sugar and vanilla. Add to flour mixture. Roll out on floured board (add more flour as needed). Cut with cookie cutter. Bake in 375 degree oven until lightly browned, about 10 minutes. |
