EASY TEA CAKES 
3 c. plain flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift dry ingredients together in large bowl. Cut in shortening, add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees until edges are golden.
