CHICKEN AND RICE 
1 cut up fryer
4 strips bacon (or enough to cover the bottom of a lg. casserole dish)
1 can mushroom soup
1 c. chicken broth
1 glass pimientos
1 c. unwashed rice

Place raw strips of bacon in casserole dish; add dry rice and add seasoned raw chicken. Don't allow chicken pieces to touch. (Salt and pepper to taste.) Pour blended soups, pimientos and broth over chicken. Cover and cook one hour in a slow oven or until done. Add broth if necessary.
