SHIPWRECK CASSEROLE 
1 lb. hamburger (uncooked)
2 med. onions
Green pepper if desired
2 lg. potatoes
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 c. chopped celery
1 can tomato soup
1 can boiling water
Salt and pepper to taste

Slice onion, green pepper and potato in bottom of baking dish. Scatter rice over top. Add layer of hamburger, then celery. Pour can of tomato soup over, then boiling water. Cover dish and bake at 300-350 degrees for 2 hours.

Can be prepared on top of stove in a heavy pan. Cook on high until liquid boils. Cover tightly, lower heat as low as possible and cook without lifting the cover for 45 minutes.
