CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA BREAD 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
1 1/4 c. very ripe banana, mashed
1 c. chocolate chips
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Grease bottom and sides of a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Beat eggs in one at a time until blended. Beat in bananas. With mixer on low speed, gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Pour into prepared pan and bake 60 to 65 minutes until pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 5 minutes before removing to rack to cool completely.
