1 box yellow cake mix
2 large cans strawberry or cherry pie filling
1 large Cool Whip
1 c. pecans
1 can crushed pineapple
1 large box instant vanilla pudding

Mix and bake cake according to package directions. Mix pudding to package directions. Layer half of each ingredient into punch bowl ending with Cool Whip. Repeat layers again ending with Cool Whip. Sprinkle top with pecans.
