PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix
2 boxes instant pudding, vanilla
2 lg. can strawberry pie filling
2 lg. can pineapple, crushed
Lg. Cool Whip
1 c. chopped nuts

Bake cake as directed. Then cool. Mix pudding using less milk to make stiff. Cut cake and crumble half in bottom of punch bowl. Add 1 layer of pudding, then 1 can pineapple with juice, then add 1 can pie filling and 1/2 of Cool Whip, 1/2 cup nuts and repeat layers. Top with nuts and cherries. Refrigerate overnight and serve with ice cream dipper or large spoon. Serves about 50 people.
