HEART CAKE 
Shortening
Flour
White or sour cream white cake mix with pudding
Fluffy white frosting mix
Red food coloring

Grease and flour one round and one square baking pan.

Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Bake cakes, cool completely and remove from pans.

Set square cake on large tray with one point toward you.

Cut round cake in half to form two half circles.

Place each half against top corners of square cake to form a heart.

Prepare fluffy white frosting according to directions. Add food coloring to tint.

Frost cake, top and sides, being especially careful to cover cut sections. Decorate as you like.
