BUTTERMILK LEFSA | |
4 c. flour 1/4 c. sugar 1 stick melted butter 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 2 c. buttermilk Mix dry ingredients together, then add butter. Roll into baseball size balls. Roll out on floured board and roll out with a lefsa pin. Bake on lefsa grill at 375 degrees. Be sure to turn it over. It will look like a cracker. Dry on a flat surface--they will be hard like crackers too. TO EAT: Moisten lefsa between damp towels. Spread with soft butter and shake on brown sugar. Roll up and cut and serve. |
