CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER PIE | |
4 (1 oz. ea.) sq.unsweetened chocolate 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk 1 to 2 tubs whip cream (Cool Whip or similar) 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 3/4 cup peanut butter 3/4 cup powdered sugar 1 Oreo pie crust or homemade Oreo crust Melt unsweetened chocolate slowly over low heat. Add sweetened condensed milk. Cool to room temp. After it has cooled, slowly fold in 1 tub of whipped cream. In separate bowl, mix together cream cheese (let it soften a little before mixing it), peanut butter and powdered sugar. Add peanut butter mixture to pie crust as first layer (about 1/2 to 1-inch thick). Add chocolate layer on top of that. Optional: Add second tub on top of chocolate layer. Note: To make your own Oreo crust, crush a package of regular Oreos mixing with 1-2 cups butter (do not want it too buttery). Put crushed Oreos in pie pan and bake in oven at 350°F for 10 minutes or until set. Cool before adding above ingredients. Submitted by: Sunshine |
