CHEESE AND MACARONI CASSEROLE | |
1/2 c. onion 2 tbsp. flour 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, cooked and drained 1 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. butter 1 c. milk 1 (6 oz.) can tuna, drained and flaked 2 c. macaroni, cooked and drained 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese Saute onion in butter. Blend in flour and gradually add milk. Stir until thick. Add 1/2 pound cheese and stir until melted. Add macaroni, peas, tuna and salt. Mix well. Pour in 2 quart casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. After baking, top with slices of Velveeta cheese and stick it back in the oven until the cheese melts. |
