1 box yellow cake mix with pudding
1 stick butter
1 egg
1/2 c. nuts (opt.)

Mix all of the above together and press into a 9"x12" pan, greased. This batter will be rather thick.

Mix: 2 eggs 8 oz. cream cheese, softened 1 tsp. vanilla

Once this is mixed, it will be thin.

Pour over mixture in pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 35 minutes or until brown. Do not over cook, but the center must be done. Cool thoroughly and cut into squares. This recipe does like brownies, once you take them out of the oven, they fall.

You may use strawberry, lemon or chocolate cake mix and it all does real well.
