EGGLESS, BUTTERLESS, MILKLESS
CAKE
 
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. hot water
4 level tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 pkg. raisins
1 tsp. salt

Boil for 5 minutes the above ingredients, leave it cool. Dissolve 2 teaspoons baking soda in little hot water, add to cooled ingredient, also 3 cups flour. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour in loaf pan.
