SOUTHERN PRALINE PIE 
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 c. raisins
2/3 c. buttermilk
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell

Blend sugar, flour and salt together. Add the egg; then the lemon juice, raisin and buttermilk. Mix thoroughly. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle the Praline Topping evenly over filling. Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 25 to 30 minutes longer. Cool.

PRALINE TOPPING:

1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/4 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. pecans, finely chopped

Mix brown sugar and flour. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add pecans.
