WESTERN CASSEROLE 
1 lb. hamburger, browned
1 lb. can whole kernel corn, drained
1 lb. can red kidney beans, drained
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of tomato soup
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 tbsp. minced onion
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 can refrigerator biscuits
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1/4 c. corn meal

In a 2 quart casserole, mix together beef, corn, kidney beans, soup, cheese, onion and chili powder. Bake, uncovered, in hot oven (400 degrees) until hot (about 20 minutes.) Dip biscuits in butter, then in corn meal. Place around edge of casserole. Bake 20 to 25 minutes longer until biscuits are golden brown.
