GRANDMOTHER'S RIPE CURRANT PIE 
2 1/2 c. ripe red currants
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. lemon juice
4 level tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. water

Mix all together and cook until thickened. Use egg whites for meringue.
