CARAMEL CORN 
8 quarts popped corn
2 c. salted peanuts (opt.)
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. white corn syrup or honey
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. maple butter flavor
1 tsp. baking soda

Place popcorn and peanuts in large bowl. In saucepan combine sugars, butter, salt and syrup. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat. Add soda, vanilla and maple butter flavor. Stir quickly. Pour over popcorn and mix. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring several times. Remove from oven, stirring occasionally while mixture cools. Store in air tight container. Makes 8 quarts.
