AU GRATIN POTATOES 
1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash browns
1 c. diced onion
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken or potato soup, undiluted
1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
1/4 lb. (1/2 c.) butter
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1 c. crushed potato chips

Defrost hash browns 30 minutes prior to preparation. Combine soup, onion, sour cream and butter in saucepan, heat on medium heat until well mixed. Place potatoes in potatoes in 13"x9"x2" baking dish. Sprinkle cheese on top. Top with chips. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
